Subject: Application for an English daily for the college common room.

Sir.

I have the honour to state that an English daily is very necessary for us. By going through it, we shall be able to develop our knowledge of the English language. The importance of learning English cannot be overstated. This is the age of science. Newer and newer research findings in scientific matters appear almost everyday in English dailies. We shall benefit greatly if we are provided with an English daily in our college common room.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to provide an English daily in our college common room oblige thereby.
