Female education has now become a burning question in developing countries . We are the citizens of a civilized world . A nation can be powerful by educating all of her citizens . If the female education is neglected , a nation will not prosper . Education is a fundamental right of human beings . In the past , the rate of female education in our country was very low , but now it is increasing day by day . Still in our rural areas , the rate of this progress is insufficient . Here , due to social prejudice , many parents are reluctant to send their daughters to schools . Some parents marry them off before completing their secondary education . Early marriage , family restrictions , gender discrimination etc. are actively working as the main barriers to female education . Poverty , illiteracy , social prejudice etc. are the reasons behind it . However , we must not forget that every girl is a future mother and a child starts learning from its mother . Educated women can perform more important roles for the development of a country . So , their education is important . Government has taken a number of steps such as providing stipend , tiffin , learning materials etc. to ensure female education . নারী শিক্ষা এখন উন্নয়নশীল দেশে একটি জ্বলন্ত প্রশ্ন হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। আমরা সভ্য বিশ্বের নাগরিক। একটি জাতি তার সকল নাগরিককে শিক্ষিত করে শক্তিশালী হতে পারে। নারী শিক্ষাকে অবহেলা করলে জাতির উন্নতি হবে না। শিক্ষা মানুষের মৌলিক অধিকার। আগে আমাদের দেশে নারী শিক্ষার হার খুবই কম থাকলেও এখন তা দিন দিন বাড়ছে। আমাদের গ্রামাঞ্চলে এখনো এ অগ্রগতির হার অপর্যাপ্ত। এখানে সামাজিক কুসংস্কারের কারণে অনেক অভিভাবক তাদের মেয়েদের স্কুলে পাঠাতে নারাজ। কিছু অভিভাবক তাদের মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা শেষ করার আগেই তাদের বিয়ে দিয়ে দেন। বাল্যবিবাহ, পারিবারিক সীমাবদ্ধতা, লিঙ্গ বৈষম্য ইত্যাদি নারী শিক্ষার প্রধান বাধা হিসেবে সক্রিয়ভাবে কাজ করছে। এর পেছনে রয়েছে দারিদ্র্য, অশিক্ষা, সামাজিক কুসংস্কার ইত্যাদি। যাইহোক, আমাদের ভুলে যাওয়া উচিত নয় যে প্রতিটি মেয়েই ভবিষ্যতের মা এবং একটি শিশু তার মায়ের কাছ থেকে শিখতে শুরু করে। শিক্ষিত নারীরাই দেশের উন্নয়নে আরও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে। তাই তাদের শিক্ষা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। সরকার নারী শিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করতে উপবৃত্তি, টিফিন, শিক্ষা উপকরণ ইত্যাদি প্রদানের মতো বেশ কিছু পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। মেয়েদের জন্য স্নাতক পর্যন্ত বিনামূল্যে শিক্ষার ব্যবস্থাও চালু করা হয়েছে। এভাবে চলতে থাকলে নারী শিক্ষার সমস্যা দূর হয়ে যাবে।
